NENA's mission is to foster the technological advancement, availability, and implementation of a universal emergency telephone number system. In carrying out its mission, NENA promotes research, planning, training and education. The protection of human life, the preservation of property and the maintenance of general community security are among NENA's objectives. The members of the Oklahoma Chapter of NENA are dedicated to enhancing the delivery of public safety and emergency service response to residents and visitors of the state of Oklahoma.

OklaNENA wants to keep our members informed of chapter activities, important legislative issues, technical issues, and much more. We hope the general public will find this site useful to learn about 9-1-1 services in Oklahoma and who to contact for 911 issues.  It is OklaNENA's mission to support a continuously improving emergency telephone number network in the state of Oklahoma.
